About this title

Storyline

Mem bou (the british bride) is a story of carol brown, a young woman of foreign origin, who comes to indian in search of her roots. Sparks are sure to fly when she meets koustav, who is an orthodox bengali. For attaining a conference, koustav and his grandfather, shibnath fly to georgia where he meets carol. After that koustav accidentally meets carol everywhere in georgia and circumstances let them to fight every time. Finally carol comes to india but falls in a trap by rajan and raghav. Koustav rescues carol from all these situations and this end up by koustav marrying to carol. The family members are stunned seeing this situation. Will the family members accept carol as their daughter in law? Will carol and koustav be a happy couple? How will carol adjust in this orthodox family? Will she ever able to find her roots?
