About this title

Storyline

When a humble Criminology Student, Walt, became a night watchman in "Fred's Wax Museum", he busied himself creating a unique "crime computer" inside a sarcophagus near the ultimate "Hall Of Fame" of all-time monsters; Dracula, Frankenstein & the Werewolf. Whether it was the "oscillating vibrations" that began when he fired up his computer, or the housing of the computer being in an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus with who knows what old curses upon it, the wax figures came to life! Dracula informed one and all that he preferred, "Drac", while "Frank N. Stein" and "Bruce W. Wolf" affirmed their names as well. While appearing to be merely wax figures, the monsters remembered their past ghastly deeds and decided to atone for it. Enabled by Walt, who created tool belts for the monsters to use, and an absolutely "tricked out" black van, Walt mostly remained at his post while the monsters ventured out to be superheroes. Walt monitored their activities via the crime computer and spoke to them with the aid of CB type devices on their tool belts. In case they were overheard, they devised "handles"; "Nightflyer", "Green Machine", "Furball" and "Chamber of Horrors"...which was Drac, Frank, Bruce & Walt respectively. While they battled a bevy of classic Batman TV villain types, it was never discussed why the statue of the Invisible Man, which was frequently seen in passing, never came to life like the other 3 had. Perhaps it was that he wasn't as close in proximity to the Crime Computer, or perhaps it was because he didn't have nearly as much to atone for. "The world will never know!"
