Storyline
The inside story of Prince Andrew's 2019 Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis and subsequent chain of events that led to royal disaster. In the 80s Andrew was a Falklands war hero and a national heart-throb, glory years culminating in marriage to Sarah Ferguson. But following his departure from the Navy, his new role as trade envoy proved unsuccessful - and his need to fund a lavish lifestyle and friendship with Jeffrey Epstein eventually prompted the interview that cemented his downfall.
