Futatsu No Supika

Storyline

The launch of Japan's first manned spaceflight mission ends in disaster when the liquid rocket booster fuel catches on fire soon after after liftoff and the rocket crashes into the city of Yuigahama, causing many casualties among residents. The story focuses around Asumi Kamogawa and her mentor (The ghost of astronaut whom she can only see, and calls by the name Mr. Lion) Asumi's mother was a victim of the rocket crash and ended up in a coma for five years which soon after she passed away. Asumi grew up with her father, who is a construction worker.Asumi wants enter into space school. She soon parts with Mr. Lion and her father, and enters into the Space School, where she meets Fuchuya (her childhood friend), Shu, Kei and Marika.
