Storyline

After her young twins start school and she gets her days to herself, Debbie Maddox begins to think she's going mad after she cleans the house from top to bottom and becomes addicted to a daytime quiz show. She may, in fact, be going mad when an enthusiastic elf appears in a kitchen cupboard and tells her she is needed in another world. According to the elf she is an unlikely saviour who, it has been predicted, can save the world from dark forces. Although she thinks the elf is mistaken, Debbie lets him take her through a portal into the other world. While there, she does her best to help incompetent knights and lying monks in an attempt to fulfil the prophecy and save their world. She just hopes she makes it back to the real world in time to pick her kids up from school.
