Storyline

Andy and Candis Meredith of Old Home Love have a passion for saving old homes. They take on their biggest project yet as they face the challenge of restoring a deeply neglected historic home in heart of Utah for the sole purpose of giving it away. With one room being renovated and completed weekly, viewers follow the 8 week design, demolition and construction process in real time and even participate in the design process during LIVE updates where Andy and Candis offer insight into the week's activities, take questions, and give viewers the unique chance to vote on important design choices that determine how the renovations proceed. Viewers then have the opportunity to enter to win the completed home PLUS a $50k cash prize over the course of construction. When renovations are complete, one winner will be selected at random to make this house their home. Converted into a duplex at some point during the 1930's and eventually falling into disrepair, the home undergoes major structural changes as it is reverted back into a single family home. Andy and Candis and their trusted crew of craftsmen work to preserve and bring back to life the original features that made this home so special to begin with and they bring their viewers along for the ride, including them in the process as part of the team. They uncover more than a few surprises as the home is carefully repaired, fully modernized to code, furnished and artfully staged room by room. The final reveal is guaranteed to blow you away.
