VIVER DO RISO is a comprehensive portrait of Brazilian comedy through the years, showing its best comedians and remembering its most iconic characters, sketches, shows and movies. Presented by actor and comedian Ingrid Guimarães, VIVER DO RISO investigates themes like the greatest duos, female comedians and the influence of the politically correct in comedy nowadays. Among the interviewees are many legends of Brazilian comedy, like Renato Aragão, Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, Miguel Falabella, and Tom Cavalcante. Representing the new generation, there are popular comedians like Fábio Porchat, Tatá Werneck, Gregório Duvivier, and Dani Calabresa, among many others.
