Storyline

While in college, Tang Chia-Ni (Ruby Lin) falling in love with her schoolmate (also neighborhood) Fang Wei-Te (Weber Yang) after she agreed with Wei-Te's idea of an eye for an eye, when she caught her boyfriend cheating with another girl. However, broader events intervened in their romance: during the historic 921 earthquake in Taiwan, Chia-Ni's friend Wang Chun-Chieh (Melvin Sia) broke both of his legs. Out of obligation and compassion, Chia-Ni decides to marry Chun-Chieh. When Chia-Ni and Wei-Te ran into each other again in 2008, she was a married woman and he was about to walk down the aisle. They were still in love but parted as friends. But when fate brings the two back together at another wedding in 2013, will they make the same decision?
