About this title
Storyline
Actors Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan leave their native Britain to head to Italy on a culinary adventure in `The Trip to Italy'. At the request of The Observer newspaper, the two men have six meals in six different places on a road trip around Italy and review the restaurants where they eat. The trip begins in Piemonte and travels through Liguria, Tuscany, Rome and Amalfi before ending in Capri. The half-hour programme is a follow--up to BAFTA-winning `The Trip' that originally aired in 2010.
