About this title

Storyline

Queen Latifah hosted a daytime talk show for two seasons from 1999 to 2001 and hopes to last longer in the 2010s with "The Queen Latifah Show." For her second go-round in the crowded daytime talk genre, the Grammy winner focuses on celebrity guests, including many famous friends she has made during her years in the entertainment industry. Other regular features include human-interest stories, musical performances from some of the top names in the industry, and interviews with everyday people who are making a difference in their communities. The show's Culver City, Calif., set -- which Latifah has nicknamed "The Big Sexy" -- was designed by Grammy-winning singer Lenny Kravitz.
