About this title

Storyline

After the end of her longtime association with Johnny Carson and the failure of her own late night talk show, Joan Rivers attempted to try her hand, this time, on her morning talk show, in comparison to her fellow talk show hosts Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford, as far as bringing celebrities to the show, but opposed to them, her talk show focused on finding the more, universal humor in the gossip, pop culture, and fads of the Nineties that still resonate today. For doing this, she also paved the way for later talk show hosts, with invitation from celebrities like Rosie O'Donnell, Donny and Marie Osmond and Ellen DeGeneres.
