Storyline

New Zealand actress and television presenter Jaquie Brown uses experiences drawn from her career as the basis of this sitcom that tracks the falling star of a minor media personality, and her ill-fated attempts to remain in the limelight. A member of a current-affairs television show assigned to cover quirky events and provide light humor, Jaquie fears the worst when a talented new reporter joins the team. Desperate to keep a grip on her position, Jaquie will do just about anything, no matter how cringe-worthy, to stay in the public eye.
