Storyline

The Franchise is a secluded mansion inhabited by two reclusive women, one in her forties, the other her rather eccentric mother. A girl of 15 is found in a distressed state, with an extraordinary tale of having fled the mansion where she had been kept in forced captivity, beaten and half-starved. She is able to give a remarkably detailed account of the interior of the house and of her captors, all of it accurate but for one disturbing discrepancy. The clue is in the attic..
