Storyline

Surveillance Secrets is a British reality television programme made by Get Success TV for broadcast on Amazon Prime in 2019. It's a new 8-part series that will blow the lid on the secret world of espionage and surveillance. The programme gives ordinary people the chance to inhabit a world they have only ever read about or seen on the screen. Ever wondered what it would be like to be a spy? Ever fancied yourself as a bit of a James Bond? Looking suave, being able to dance the foxtrot and having a signature drink are all part of the image of an espionage agent but it's the professionalism and use of centuries-old tactics that are the bread & butter of modern-day spooks. Filmed across various locations around Greater Manchester and London, Surveillance Secrets is a show about adventure, excitement and intrigue .... As long as you accept that things are never always quite what they seem. The series follows a group of private investigators, covert surveillance operatives, former military, and law enforcement officers, taking the viewer through a full spectrum of espionage techniques, including foot surveillance, mobile surveillance, maintaining a false identity, 'going grey' - the ability to blend into any given environment, specialist surveillance equipment, planning and reconnaissance. The programme's use of closely-guarded techniques, psychological challenges, dramatic tension, and personable cast will guide the viewer on a journey of suspense into espionage and surveillance tactics in use each day around the world by elite agencies like MI5, MI6, FBI, CIA, Special Air Service, Counter Terrorism Units and undercover law enforcement. Production showrunner Fabian Lord is probably best-placed to lead the team. Trained by UK Special Forces, coming from a background in the military and amassing experience in law enforcement spanning 2 forces, as a detective and a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit, investigating murderers, human traffickers, live kidnappings, terrorists, robberies and shootings. Fabian has worked on some of the UK's highest profile national security investigations and even advised the U.K. government over the regulation of the private security industry. He now works as a journalist, PR and media consultant. The series ends with fast-track training in the classroom, taking regular people and teaching them the skills and techniques used by some of the world's elite espionage agencies before taking them out in public to put them to the test.
