Storyline

When most people think of fashion, they think of locations like New York, Paris or Milan. Hailey Gates isn't most people. On this series, she travels the world to discover the standards of beauty, fashion and style that are in place in remote areas of the globe. It goes beyond those topics for Gates as she explores political and social issues that involve gender and race. Pakistan, Russia, Palestine and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are among the countries on her itinerary. Gates' goal with the show is to bring to light issues that the industry often ignores.
