Storyline

Every year at the ShortCutz Amsterdam Annual Awards recognized film personalities are invited to award and inspire new filmmakers to create more and better movies. During the ceremony filmmakers are awarded prizes in several categories, including: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Documentary and Best Animation. Winners are chosen by a special jury composed of the best talent from various film disciplines. This year the jury composed of: actor Rutger Hauer, director Hany Abu-Assad, actor Vincent van Ommen, actress Sigrid ten Napel, director Roel Reiné, actress Willeke van Ammelrooy, producer Jan Harlan, director Eddy Terstall, director Pieter Kuijpers, actor Tygo Gernandt, Claire van Daal , Marina Blok, René Wolf and Laser 3.14.
