Storyline

As its name suggests, this game is a Film Noir-inspired experience. However, it features three other themes also, which keeps things fresh throughout the game. This game stars a female protagonist by the name of "Huru", a 'hunter-detective' with a wanted power by four factions, as she is not only deadly, but has the ability to absorb the most heinous of crime-bosses' minds and turn them against their own. Having such power would allow a crime boss complete control over Night Light City. Hence, she is wanted by the factions for their own evil greed and is feared by the city. However, Night Light City Organisation (NLCO) has kept surveillance over her as well as enlisting her as 'legal Detective-Hunter (DH) in lock-down'. And so Huru takes small cases, often accompanied by security agents. One night, a new case shows up - in the form of a damsel in distress, a glamorous celebrity who needs escorting to 'Bridge Haven'. Her name is 'Olivia Milk'. She'll not be escorted by anybody else but by 'Detective Hunter Huru'. This'll be Huru's first big case in almost a decade, not that Huru cares much for it. But something is not quite right with this case... Travelling to Bridge Haven could only mean one thing: This damsel wants to quit her luxurious life to start over out of Night Light City. But why? Everybody adores her in the city and Olivia is filthy rich. Who would want to possibly END her comfy career. This intrigues Huru...
