Storyline

"Saturday Morning Fun Club" was a hosted children's show with Charlie Baxter as "Charlie", with Herb Hirsch as the voice of "Willie the Moose". This show started on WCKT-TV, Channel 7 in Miami, Florida, USA sometime in the mid 1960s; after Charlie and Willie were established. Boys and girls visited the set and joined in the fun. Cartoons were shown between Charlie and Willie's adventures just like on Bozo's Buddies. "Orville and Wilber the Singing Worms," who lived in a nearby well, were also featured. The Humane Society brought pets to show to the kids. There was a Fun Club membership kit too. Willie always had a pie to throw into Charlie's face.
