About this title
Storyline
The three-part series finds Richard Hammond investigating the extraordinary powers of the animal kingdom and how its creatures inspire inventions at the forefront of science. He travels around the world to get up close and personal with both tame and wild animals, and then he demonstrates scientific experiments that help explain how the animals' specific capabilities actually work. Hammond also talks with scientists and engineers who have transferred the creatures' extraordinary talents to modern inventions, from a state-of-the-art suit for jet pilots to withstand higher G-force, to a water-repelling substance to be used on everyday objects, including mobile phones and clothing.
