Rag Days

Storyline

Several "Renaissance Men", all veterans of the First World War, and player/coaches in the early Era of pro football, form bonds which are tested by rivalries and social forces during the "Rag Days" of the Roaring 20's, when the sport begins to take hold in American life. The men's lives are interwoven through different teams and seasons, as the professional game evolves from smaller cities and "declared" champions to larger cities and postseason playoffs during the Great Depression and into the era of the New Deal.
