Noor Jahan

Storyline

Noor Jahan (Azekah Daniel) is an innocent and simple girl and is very dear to her father. Salman falls in love with Noor Jahan and wishes to marry her. However Noor Jahan's mother rejects the proposal of Salman and fixes her engagement with someone else. This comes off as a shock to Salman and he feels humiliated. His love for Noor Jahan transforms into obsession and he decides to win her at any cost. During Noor Jahan's engagement ceremony, Salman creates a scene which ultimately breaks off her engagement. Noor Jahan is then married off to Zaheer who is a serious and arrogant man. Noor Jahan survives his atrocities and tries to give her marriage a chance. Noor Jahan is helped by Zaheer's two sisters which makes it easier for her to survive. However Noor Jahan's life is further challenged when Salman reenters and Zaheer starts doubting Noor Jahan's character. Noor Jahan soon delivers the news of her pregnancy to Zaheer. But, as his suspicion grows, so does their difference. Devastated by the perceived betrayal by Noor Jahan, Zaheer leaves Noor at the mercy of her family. All alone with her pregnancy, Noor Jahan gives birth to a son. Salman sees this as an opportunity to provide shelter and support to Noor Jahan. After Salman's proposal and Noor's condition, they reunite. But, her son is adopted by Noor Jahan's sister and brother-in-law. Zaheer is informed about his son and he's gravely regretting his condition. He tries to reunite with his son but, Noor Jahan's brother-in-law is wary of her intentions and send him away. Will Noor Jahan's decision finally bring her the serenity or will it cause her more unfortunate circumstances?
