Storyline
On the island of Senja in Northern Norway in 1877, Båremor, a 14-year-old girl is washed ashore almost dead. No-one knows her and she remembers nothing of her past. A poor family of fishermen take care of her, but she never feels at home among these coastal people. Soon she meets infamous Bårr.
