About this title

Storyline

Lisa is a 30-something Mancunian who has been married to plumber Dan for a decade. The couple live on a cul-de-sac in Mount Pleasant, a small suburb south of Manchester. Living nearby are Lisa's ever-present parents, Sue and Barry. Lisa and Dan love each other but aren't above getting into arguments when the occasion arises, usually invovling their temptress neighbour, Bianca. While Lisa is used to Bianca's advances on Dan, she doesn't know that another woman, recently widowed Kate, is making her own play for Lisa's husband. Lisa's best friends, Shelley and Denise, help her navigate the highs and lows of life and love, but Lisa struggles with her own emotions when she encounters sexy single Jack.
