Storyline
The story of a unique and sensitive relationship between a father and daughter. Yashpal is an illiterate peon in a school. Most of his family is also illiterate. But he doesn't want his daughter to remain illiterate and hence educates her against the will of his family and society. In small towns, girls are not encouraged to have dreams and aspirations and hence are not educated. Yashpal took up cudgels against society to give his daughter the gift of education. Durga, on the other hand, is a very lively and a positive 12-year-old who is enjoying her childhood running behind kites, climbing trees and swimming in the rivers. Although she tries real hard to fulfill her father's dream, very soon she realizes that academics is not her cup of tea. But she excels in sports and wants to become an athlete. What will happen when Yashpal realizes that his dream will never be fulfilled? Will he ever make Durga's dream his own..?
