About this title

Storyline

Dan is a teacher who may be less mature than his students - he can best be described as a child trapped in an adult's life - and his world is nearing a collapse. His friends are dysfunctional, including best friend Jo, who has just a loose grasp on reality. His girlfriend, Naomi, is quickly running out of patience with his inability to complete even the simplest of life's tasks. And even Dan's father, whose motivation seems to be his son's humiliation, torments Dan daily, usually keeping it under the radar so Dan's mum doesn't find out about it. The only highlight of Dan's daily life is Miss Lipsey, a headmistress who views him with a mixture of pity and despair.
