Storyline

In 8 minutes this short documentary re-enacts the lifestyle of bohemian group of poets who, in the 1920-30s, turned Malaga in capital of surrealism and avant-garde poetry. The so-called Generación del 27, an advance movement of literature, culture and science in Spain, had a strong branch in this Mediterranean city thanks to Manuel Altolaguirre, Emilio Prados and José María Hinojosa, who gathered to publish a magazine (Litoral) and books of the most celebrated writers of their generation. Very linked to the sea, the sun and a cosmopolitan lifestyle, these poets committed to improve literature, social matters and life itself.
