Storyline

Holly has recently emigrated from Brazil to Canada. Despite english being her second language she is determined to make it in show business and feels Vancouver (aka Hollywood North) gives her the best opportunity to do so. Similarly, Nora hails from Eastern Europe and has designs on a career in the film industry. When a local film director (John) gets a gig to film a B-movie in Bulgaria he sublets his Vancouver apartment, and both Holly and Nora move in, meeting each other for the very first time on moving day.
