About this title

Storyline

The new super bio computer CCC 4042 runs the whole hospital, including production and distribution of medicine, monitoring patients, and controlling the building. Strange things begin to happen in various areas of the hospital. Meanwhile in the astronomical observatory, an unknown object is seen in our solar system. The chief astronomer is planning to go to Esrange and take part in the launching of a probe. Ep 1. Pregnant patients have panic attacks. The 4042 seems to have changed their medication. When two computer specialists start to search for an explanation to the problem, the 4042 locks all access to the computer, physical as well as via terminals. A new type of personal computer, also of brand CCC, is shipped for free to the home of the astronomer. Ep 2. Jens, teenage son of the astronomer, unpacks the new CCC Hawk. Later he is found unconscious after connecting himself to the PC. When in hospital care, the EEG of the still unconscious Jens is completely unintelligible. The two programming experts continue to search for an explanation to the erratic behavior of the 4042 bio computer. Somebody is hiding information about its purpose. Jens wakes up the next day and feels OK. When he gets back home, the PC has been recalled and retrieved by the CCC. Ep 3. The 4042 has been growing rapidly, and transferred itself to Jens' brain, as it seems. The action moves from Stockholm to Esrange, the space center in the north, where Jens' father already is. Jens manages to go there too, as well as the two computer experts. A rocket is to be launched, but with what equipment?
