Storyline

FC United: City Pirates is a coming of age story about a diverse group of teenagers who want to win on Saturday and are trying not to lose during the rest of week. Who will be the champ? 18 year old talents are dreaming of a future in professional football. Their perseverance and enthusiasm stands in stark contrast with what they experience off the pitch. Coach Yves tries to take care of the boys and their problems. A story about school, family, criminal records and just being young. Life sometimes seems unsuspecting but never carefree. Their football club, City Pirates, tries to give them perspective, a sense of teamwork and commitment for a greater cause.
