Exorcism 101

Storyline

Grace loves to break the rules. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants - or at least when someone says "you can't do that". At the age of 17, she has grown up to become a proficient rebel, only to piss off Mother Superior, who has been her guardian since Grace's parents died. Mother Superior decided to sign her up in the Convent as a postulant, but Grace was still able to sneak out, just to go against the nuns' rules. She is enrolled in St. Hermes Academy, forced by the Headmaster, after she successfully exorcised a man by accident. What it's not immediately revealed is that she was having sex with this man in the church's confessional booth during a mass when a demon possessed him, and she thought he was just role-playing when he started claiming his demonic power. However, she's not allowed to tell to the other students - not right away. The St. Hermes Academy is an institution in the south of the Dominican Republic, where male seminarians learn the rules and techniques to practice proper exorcisms. The students are exposed to different demonic possessions and types of demons every week. Grace is the only woman who has been admitted. But she is not that excited about moving to San Juan de la Maguana and coming to this school. Even though she grew up in a catholic environment, Grace develops a hatred feeling against God for the death of her parents. And even though she feels special about all the attention she has been getting for the first time in her life, she has to accept the challenge and believe in her exorcism power, or she will be sent to prison for having sex in a church.
