Storyline

From 1960 up until the fall of the Berlin Wall, "Der Schwarz Kanal" influenced Monday evening TV schedules in the communist East Germany. Karl-Eduard von Schnitzler written, compiled and hosted the show, where he commented on television footage from West Germany (this was because West German TV could be received in most of the DDR), and he bowdlerised them and commented on what they "really" meant.
