Forensic pathologists, mortuary technicians, police and coroner Alison Thompson are the stars of this series. No, it's not a new BBC crime serial - it's a look at the real-life work done at the Coroner's Court, where Thompson and her team investigate mysterious, violent and unnatural deaths in west London, one of the busiest jurisdictions in the country. Each victim's story is presented with a human touch as well, as the families of the deceased reveal details about their lives and the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
