Storyline

Elliot Baines has lost his senatorial seat for the state of Washington after numerous terms. Now her must get used to being a regular civilian again. One of the things he works on is his relationship with his three daughters: Ellen, a power-driver lawyer who could be next in line for a senate seat; Reeva, a discontented homemaker who wants more than her possibly-cheating husband can give her; and Dori, his wildly independent youngest, who goes through guys like flavors-of-the-month and struggles in the job world because of her famous family name.
