Using the Hamburg State Opera Ballet and an abstract ballet "Ballet suite" set to the Suite in D minor by Bach, Blank discusses choreography. He shows the development of a choreographic idea from the first inspiration, its illustration on paper, and the rehearsals with the dancers, to sections of a full performance.
