Storyline

In this YouTube series, two personifications of the North and South of the American Civil War, Billy Yank and Johnny Reb, debate the historical facts of the war and debunk its myths, especially the idea of the Lost Cause. Inevitably, Johnny Reb, copying the text online comments near verbatim, repeats the most brazen kneejerk historical suppositions while Billy Yank counters with facts even when his opponent's more obnoxious statements try his patience.
