About this title

Storyline

Bing Crosby's last Christmas special, this show originally aired Nov. 30, 1977, after Crosby's passing. It is introduced by his widow, Kathryn Crosby. A musical highlight is Crosby singing "Little Drummer Boy" in counterpoint to Bowie singing "Peace on Earth". Ron Moody appears in a sketch as Charles Dickens with Twiggy, then musically as Ebenezer Scrooge with Twiggy as Tiny Tim, then as Fagin with the Artful Dodger, followed by Moody as Daniel Quilp with Twiggy as Nell Trent. Twiggy and Crosby sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". The show ends with Crosby singing "White Christmas".
