5 Gold Rings

Storyline

Phillip Schofield hosts the quiz show with a number of interactive elements, both in the studio and at home for the viewer. `5 Gold Rings' is a physical game show which takes place on a very accurate giant LED floor. Players are given five rings and must place the ring over what they think is the correct answer on the floor, with the winning team taking home £25,000. However, as the game progresses the rings become smaller, meaning the rings must be placed with increasing precision, and if the team answers wrong they lose the ring forever. Viewers at home can also place rings on the answers on their phone using the `5 Gold Rings' app, which also allows them to see how their scores match up against the rest of the country.
