Storyline

This series follows the adventures of its title character as she tries to fix a world she believes is horribly broken. Variously described as "Orphan Annie meets Annie Oakley" and "Grimms' Tales for the modern era," Lilac embraces the notion that it's not always necessary to annihilate one's enemy to win the war. Possessed with nearly supernatural marksmanship, crossbow-wielding Lilac could certainly inflict pain and death upon her adversaries, but chooses to use intimidation and cleverness instead. Aimed at a family audience, this dark & edgy series nevertheless addresses serious issues such as child trafficking, bullying, smoking, and violence.
