About this title

Storyline

On a nearly deserted beach, Mitra finds an unconscious girl and revives her. Since the girl does not remember anything about her, the old gypsy woman takes her to her village and takes care of her as if she were her granddaughter. She calls her Civinka. Years go by and that teenager has become a beautiful young woman who prepares her wedding with her cousin Stieva, but Julián Argüello crosses her path. He is about an attractive and womanizing man who runs a prestigious modeling agency. Distressed by debts, he is also about to marry Norma Pérez because of her immense fortune, which he inherited from her sister, who disappeared five years ago. Julián deceives Mitra's sweet and innocent 'granddaughter', Civinka, unaware of this reality, allows her irresistible stranger to seduce her and completely falls in love with her. After the night of passion, Julián returns to the city willing to continue his life and without giving any explanation. The girl is devastated when she realizes that he has abandoned her. Everyone in the village finds out what happened and makes fun of Civinka. Even her grandmother Mitra treats her as if she were a prostitute. Although Stieva holds a grudge against her, she remains engaged and Civinka decides to stay by her side. However, she suffers a serious accident. When she recovers, she does not remember anything about her past as a gypsy but she does remember her previous life. She is called Paloma Pérez, Norma's sister, and as such she shows up at the family mansion while the others believed she was dead.
