Storyline

Turner Prize Award winner Grayson Perry explores what it means to be a modern man in Britain today. Perry, a father of one who enjoys cross-dressing and mountain biking, discusses contemporary masculinity with people from male-dominated worlds. The presenter uses the personal stories of those he meets as inspiration for his latest art projects. With attitudes and expectations of men changing every day in modern society, the artist reflects on his own values, identity and machismo. Over the series Perry meets with North East cage fighters, Lancashire's police force, and London's traders and hedge-fund managers.
