Storyline

Three people living in hiding, after breaking from their family traditions/religions tell the story of why they will never see their families again. The subjects have been anonymized due to their safety, and all footage are reenactments by actors. The first episode follows the story of a young muslim man, who falls in love with a danish/atheist woman. After concealing his relationship with her for about a year, the family find out and gives him the ultimatum of either breaking off the relationship, or to be cut out of the family. He tells of his experiences getting death threats from his parents and siblings, and how he ended up living under a new name, in order to hide from his famliy. The two next episodes tell of similar stories, one of a girl refusing to follow Islam, and the third of a young muslim homosexual boy.
