Storyline

Inspector Pelazas, an honest detective with a present of personal failures and a past of enigmatic burdens, is assigned to solve the mysterious disappearance of young, sassy, spoiled Laura Ramos, the troubled heir to a corrupt, long-standing family of powerful politicians. A novelist in booze rehab and creative retreat, lodged in a small seaside village, gets tangled in a nightmare and becomes the prime suspect when the girl asks for his help and reveals disturbing secrets before vanishing from the radar. Suddenly, there is a lot to cover and clean-up, and Pelazas has to decide who are the real victims and who are the perpetrators.
