Storyline

Brittany, a 14-year-old girl, finds herself living in an orphanage to escape her devastating past much like the other orphans around her. She came from a home with an abusive and alcoholic father which now makes her terrified to settle down or feel comfortable in any house. While at the orphanage, she meets four other orphans who challenge her to step outside her comfort zone. She must learn to trust the people around her, who will ultimately become her only source of support. Mercedes, a 13-year-old orphan, has acquired a jealousy towards Brittany and wants to create trouble for her. Mr. Lim is the up-tight educator for the orphanage who also has it in for Brittany. With all the odds stacked against her, she needs to find someone she feels safe around, and can trust, or she will be alone and trapped by the memories or her father and the life she used to live.
