Storyline

In 'Blood Brothers', Turkish-Dutch journalist Sinan Can and Armenian-Dutch musical theatre actor Ara Halici explore how their families were involved in the Turkish mass-murder of the Armenians one hundred years ago. In a six part 'documentary-roadmovie' Sinan and Ara undertake a trip through Turkey and Armenia, from Istanbul to Jerevan. Not only do they experience emotional and confrontational meetings, also their friendship is put under duress on their search for the truth about the Armenian genocide.
