About this title
Storyline
Inspired by the film `The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel', eight celebrities travel to India to see what it is really like to retire there. The documentary follows Miriam Margolyes, Sylvester McCoy, Rosemary Shrager, Wayne Sleep, Bobby George, Patti Boulaye and Jan Leeming as they spend three weeks in Rajasthan, settling into a new life miles away from their homes. Over the episodes the group make a home in a private mansion, learn Hindi, practise yoga and meditation, and shop on the busy streets of Jaipur, among other activities.
