Storyline

Mr. Wallace a religious father of a farm family in rural Alabama, deals with his murdered brother and inherits a Rowdy Saloon. He must go to unusual lengths to save his family from starvation.A farm family in Alabama struggles with crop failures and a bank loan coming due. The father seeks help from his estranged and arrogant wealthy brother to no avail. The brother makes a bad bet at his saloon and has to pay up. The bad bet turns worse as the collection of the debt leads to murder. The family inherits the brother's saloon and have no experience to run it. They overcome comical hardships to make it work.
