Storyline

In order for his logging company to survive, Sean Vann knew he had to take it on a path traveled by many U.S. industries. The route leads to a foreign country, and in Vann's case it's Russia, where he worked for 17 years for the Russian Forestry Industry running operations in one of Earth's coldest, toughest environments. Tired of dealing with old machinery and inflexible bosses, Vann tries to start his own Siberian logging company, with state-of-the-art equipment and a combined American/Russian workforce. This series documents his risky transition, beginning with a contract to cut millions of dollars worth of timber in the world's largest forest. His biggest task, however, has nothing to do with trees; it's how to get longtime enemies to work together.
