Passionate about humans, ancestral stories and discoveries, Lionel Cuveiller sets out to meet the "elders" to discover Haute-Savoie from a new perspective - their perspective, to share an intimate moment dedicated to the transmission of their culture and their traditions to future generations who will, in turn, ensure their future. Lionel sets out in search of knowledge by meeting the elders, to find out more about this Haut-Savoyard territory. The richness of the area with the french resistance (Plateau des Glières), this mountains are full of stories. In addition, thanks to the life experience of our elders, recounting their lives, their hobbies, their habits, their philosophies of life will lead us to better understand their secrets of life and longevity... After filming in Haute-Savoie, Lionel wanted to explore other regions of the world and move to French Polynesia to continue his quest, to discover the people at the end of the world, the people of the Ocean of Polynesia from yesteryear until today. He takes us on a journey through time, through testimonies and anecdotes, to discover these islands and their meaningful inhabitants. The last place in the world to have been populated, these islets have the Indian Ocean as their sole horizon, yet they shine with their resilience in the face of the power of the ocean, far from the rest of the world. Polynesia is a land of culture, traditions and ancestral knowledge that has until now still been preserved from globalization. But for how long ?
