Storyline

The Spirit Horse Therapeutic Ranch in Denton, TX uses cutting edge research in horse therapy to help veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injury, along with children, young, and people with special needs, including a variety of mental and physical conditions (including ground breaking therapy for Alzheimer's) all at no cost to them. "First words, first steps" is a phrase that often use, as they've seen 107 children and young adults speak for the first time, 63 take their first steps, and 54 sit up for the first time. In the words of a mother of a child with down syndrome, the progress made through Spirit Horse therapy has been "nothing short of a miracle!"
