Paisana Jacinta

Storyline

Jacinta Chinchaysuyo is a poor indigenous woman, immigrated to the Capital City from a poor rural town called Chongomarca in Puno region in southeastern Peru; she goes from a struggling job search looking for a better life. The character frequently endures situations of racial discrimination, classism, and corruption, although in all of these turmoils, Jacinta undoubtedly resolves them with hilarious acts usually ending in several unlucky accidents and in the strangest situations.
